Todd McShay versus Mel Kiper

So, this is a pretty dumb post but I just went over to ESPN.com and their main story was on the NFL Draft and they had links to Todd McShay and Mel Kiper's mock drafts. But they put McShay's as the main one. Does this seem weird to anyone else? I mean, to me this seems kind of like if they found some other guy next year to do bracketology with Joe Lunardi and they actually promoted the other guy ahead of Lunadi.

Obviously this is not a big deal and I don't actually care but if Kiper is not ESPN's main NFL Draft guy then what purpose does he even have?
