Wait a minute…did we not write on the Nazi sex orgy?

There's really not a lot to say about this story other than this is the first time I ever had read a story on Nazi-inspired sadomasochistic sex. That's right, the head of the Formula One governing body Max Mosley paid $5,000 to play both prisoner and inmate in a concentration camp sex scene. And I don't blame him; nothing turns me on quite like mass genocide and getting my head inspected for lice. There is one area in which I differ from Mosley. Although after his Nazi sex orgies he enjoys a cup of tea with his orgy-mates, I prefer a nap.

Actually, I was talking with a friend of mine who was having a conversation with some guys (like, businessmen and such) about this topic. Apparently, according to my friend, one of the guys said "Yeah, well...when you have money..." and trailed off wistfully as if he only wished he had $5,000 to spend on a Nazi sex orgy. I'm not really sure how to respond to that story.

Anyway, it's probably safe to say this will be my last ever post on Formula One racing, unless of course they can beat this story which is far and away the leading contender for "Best Story of 2008."

More Bill James

We are slowly shifting from basketball season to baseball season and in celebration of the beginning of the baseball season, here is a great Q&A with Bill James from the Freakonomics Blog.

Todd McShay versus Mel Kiper

So, this is a pretty dumb post but I just went over to ESPN.com and their main story was on the NFL Draft and they had links to Todd McShay and Mel Kiper's mock drafts. But they put McShay's as the main one. Does this seem weird to anyone else? I mean, to me this seems kind of like if they found some other guy next year to do bracketology with Joe Lunardi and they actually promoted the other guy ahead of Lunadi.

Obviously this is not a big deal and I don't actually care but if Kiper is not ESPN's main NFL Draft guy then what purpose does he even have?

Sean Sutton Out at Oklahoma State

Sean Sutton was fired today. Now on the surface, I don't really care about this and I would assume that most of you reading don't care about this either. But, the rumors floating around indicated that T. Boone Pickens, OSU alum and multi-gazillionaire who appears to be running the OSU athletic department, is targeting fellow OSU alum Bill Self to take over. Most would think that it would be ridiculous for Self to leave perennial-power Kansas to go to Oklahoma State, but after watching Bob Huggins leave the #1 recruiting class at K-State to "go home", nothing will surprise me. And when you factor in the fact that Pickens will likely throw an insane amount of at Self, this situation could prove to be a bit of a distraction as the Jayhawks enter the Final Four.

CBS is about as bad as ESPN

Thanks to the Anti Sychophants for this picture. In case it's hard to read some genius decided to write "Now this is a party. San Antonio can expect four No. 1 seeds for the Final Four, as Kansas ends Davidson's feel-good nonsense with a convincing 59-57 victory."

I'm still a bit convinced that Davidson's "feel-good nonsense" would still be going on had McKillop actually decided to coach his team on that final possession. I understand the philosophy of getting the ball in Curry's hands when you can but Richards is a fantastic point guard and most of Curry's damage comes from moving around screens without the ball. For some reason McKillop put their two best players in different than usual positions. Bah, I'm just frustrated but thanks to Davidson for allowing us to enjoy the run. My interest in the Final Four just plummeted to the point that I'm not sure I'll watch Saturday.
