NBA Mock Draft Comparison

In a time wasting maneuver I examined several mock drafts from around the Internet. Basically I looked at a handful of mocks that were two rounds and posted since the lottery. I wanted to see the average draft position for players and you can check it out by clicking here.

Anyway, there really is not a ton that interesting with what I have found so far mostly because at this point there has been a ton of straight guesswork. As mock drafters have more data to go by (and the predraft camp in Orlando right now is certainly a key piece of data as well as individual workouts) this might become more interesting.

Not surprisingly every draft has Beasley and Rose 1-2 in some order. Brook Lopez is by far the most popular choice to go third which is surprising and I would guess will change. One of the key players to keep an eye on will be Kevin Love, who ranges between 5 and 16.

I figure I'll probably wait to do this again until after the deadline to opt out of the draft and return to school on June 16.
